Facilitation Skills

Facilitation as an activity ensures that human relationships enhance, rather than detract from group and team effectiveness.

Facilitation is increasingly recognised in organizations as one of the essential functions in ensuring that poor people dynamics do not hamper organisational success.

Our Postgraduate Facilitation Skills programme is designed from a series of core and elective modules that provide students with flexibility when considering their study programme.

Postgraduate programmes

Graduate Certificate in Facilitation
Graduate Diploma in Facilitation

These qualifications will ensure that facilitators are comprehensively trained in how to manage groups and processes effectively. Such an ability to relate meaningfully to and with others is a learned skill, requiring a level of self-awareness and insight that is intrinsic to the facilitation model.

Both programmes are comprehensive in depth qualifications, which offer sound theory, as well as tried and trusted tools and techniques for the full range of facilitation interventions used in organisations. In the process of becoming qualified professional facilitators, participants will learn essential self management and interpersonal skills and become competent in task orientated facilitation as well as develop the ability to address intra-personal and group dynamics- thereby being equipped to facilitate a variety of human processes.
