Mrs. Zerina Royeppen is the Managing Director of SACAP. Zerina trained as a social worker at the University of Cape Town. She worked in Child Welfare for many years, and managed a team that specialised in child protection. Zerina was appointed to UCT’s Department of Social Development to supervise and mentor students and young professionals in the field. Zerina joined SACAP in 2008 and, through her leadership and influence, SACAP today provides a footprint of over 100 fieldwork placement sites where students are given the opportunity to apply the theory and skills that they have learnt in their studies at SACAP. Zerina’s vision is for SACAP to produce graduates that are skilled and community-oriented practitioners.
