Programme Vision & Intended Participants
SACAP’s Coach Practitioner programme offers theoretical and experiential grounding in key concepts from Applied Psychology, as well as some foundational coaching competencies to bring a strong coaching foundation to your daily interactions with others.
This is the first of our two non-credit bearing short learning programmes that together cover the same content and practical applications as the first year of our Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching. The course aims to introduce participants to some fundamental coaching competencies, as well as how to draw on learnings from an applied psychology framework within engagements with others. Together with the second course, participants are trained to become conscious, competent and confident professional coaches.
- Individuals wishing to tentatively explore what coaching is.
- Individuals who seek a future career as a professional coach practitioner or wish to work as internal coaches within their organization.
- HR professionals, leaders and managers who wish to develop their competencies in this essential contemporary workplace skill set.
