Angela Hough-Maxwell

BA Hons (Psychology) and Higher Diploma in Education, Rhodes University. Masters degree (Educational Psychology) University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Most of Angela’s experience is as an educator and facilitator, developing materials, programmes and distance learning curriculum for supporting vulnerable children and children and families affected by loss, HIV and poverty. She also has experience in training people in skills for working with children. Angela has also been a lecturer at the University of KwaZulu Natal and has consulted and worked for several NGO’s (Dlalanathi, African Centre for Childhood, Lalela, and National Peace Accord Trust).

Angela is now in private practice where she has a special interest in working with women (addressing issues of creativity, fertility, infertility, motherhood, postnatal depression, maternal health), children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, grief and loss, art process, enhancing creativity and life purpose.
