M.A. (Clinical Psych)
Joanne trained as a teacher and worked in a school setting for 6 years as a School Counsellor.
Through her work in private practice Joanne sees adults, children, adolescents, couples and offers student supervision. She has a keen interest in the assessment of children and adolescents with learning issues and special educational needs, and works closely with schools, parents and other professionals to set up interventions and monitors progress. Joanne is also passionate about working with couples and mothers who are adjusting to the challenges of parenthood. As such, she has developed and facilitates a creative, process-oriented therapeutic group for mothers.
