Leanne Stillerman

M.A. (Clinical Psychology) University of Witwatersrand.

After graduation, Leanne completed an internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital Child Psychiatry Unit, and at the psychotherapy unit at Tara Psychiatric Hospital. She has also completed community service in a number of community clinics around Gauteng.

Ann works in private practice and with inpatients in a hospital. She is interested in psychodynamic approaches to psychotherapy and enjoys working in-depth to assist clients to gain insight into patterns in their lives, in a way that facilitates healing. Ann is also passionate about issues that are pertinent to the South African context and that impact on the South African psyche – including HIV/AIDS, trauma, disruption of families, violence against women, and masculine identity in the South African context.
