What is SACAP Global?
SACAP Global is a division of the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) that offers accessible and affordable online short courses and workshops. Course topics include applied psychology, communication, business management, leadership, HR and coaching.
Courses are designed for personal and professional skills development, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Anyone interested in building practical people skills can register for an online course, as there are no entry requirements or conditions.
What are the entry requirements?
Anyone 18 years of age or older can register online for a SACAP Global short course or workshop. There are no academic entry requirements or conditions.
How do I regsiter?
All registrations are done via the SACAP Global website. Visit the courses page https://global.sacap.edu.za/courses/ and add the course(s) you want to register for to your cart. Follow the online checkout and payment steps. Once payment has been made, you will receive an email confirmation.
What type of online courses are there?
SACAP Global’s short courses, workshops and micro-credentials are delivered 100% online and are self-directed by learners. Courses are designed for self-study, allowing learners to upskill online while guiding themselves through robust academic content and online learning activities.
- Short courses are focused, practical learning programmes designed to quickly develop specific skills or knowledge in a relatively short period, typically within a few weeks or months. These courses are popular for professional development, skill enhancement, or career exploration.
- Micro-credentials are short, compact courses designed to be equivalent components of degree programmes at SACAP. Completing partnering sets of micro-credentials allows learners to apply for module exemption when accepted onto accredited degree programmes.
- Workshops are offered on demand, allowing learners to start learning upon registration. Workshops require learners to watch a recording, read journey articles and complete an online quiz.
- CPD (Continuous Professional Development) workshops aim to ensure professionals stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in their respective areas. These online workshops are designed for mental health professionals and accredited by the HPCSA.
