What is SACAP Global?

SACAP Global is a division of the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP).

SACAP Global offers a range of micro-credentials and short courses which combine content knowledge and practical experience, allowing you to directly apply the skills you gain in a current – or future – work environment.

The courses are taught on OpenLearning, which is a social learning platform where you can share, like, comment, reflect and chat with a community of like-minded business owners in real-time or in your own time.

       

What are micro-credentials and short courses?

Micro-credentials and short courses help you gain applied knowledge and in-demand skills that deepen your professional competency. These courses help you stay relevant in your current industry – or prepare you for a shift into a new field of interest.

SACAP Global’s micro-credentials and short courses aim to enhance your professional and personal aspirations.

What are the course entry requirements?

Anyone 18 years of age or older can do the SACAP Global courses. There are no academic entry requirements or conditions. Our goal is to make learning accessible to learners across the globe.

Are the courses credit-bearing?

SACAP Global’s micro-credentials and short courses are non-credit bearing and are not on their own sufficient for entry into SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) degree programmes or credit-bearing qualifications.

For those who meet minimum entrance requirements, module exemption via RPL is possible for the correctly paired SACAP Global micro-credential courses.
