Rahim Thawer works as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, facilitator and public speaker, sessional lecturer, writer, and community organizer. He is currently hosting The Practice Dialogue Workshop series with SACAP’s Social Work and Community Development Faculty until May 2022.
On SAFM‘s Late Night Conversations show, Patricia Ntuli explores why this approach is becoming more popular when treating substance abuse. Rahim explains what harm reduction is and shares practical examples of being respectful and inclusive when approaching behaviours that can be considered high risk.
