The Modern Leadership Landscape

The leadership landscape is evolving.

Traditional leadership models that often emphasise and encourage authority, control, and compliance are slowly adapting to approaches that prioritise adaptability, emotional intelligence, coaching, psychological safety and human-centred leadership. Leaders in today’s environment are expected to not only deliver objectives and results but also to develop talent, navigate workplace uncertainties, inspire trust and create healthy workplace environments where peers are encouraged to perform at their best.

The Modern Leadership Landscape webinar aims to explore integrated perspectives of management, organisational coaching and industrial psychology. The session will challenge conventional leadership assumptions and provide evidence-based strategies for leading people and organisations in an increasingly dynamic and unpredictable world.

Key discussion topics include:

  • The forces reshaping leadership in today’s world of work
  • Understanding the difference between management and leadership
  • Why human-centred leadership is essential for organisational success
  • Leading across generations and diverse workforces
  • The leadership competencies required for the future of work

 Participants will:

  • Understand the key trends influencing modern leadership.
  • Explore leadership through the lenses of management, organisational coaching, and industrial psychology.
  • Identify the competencies needed to lead high-performing, future-ready organisations.
  • Learn practical strategies to enhance employee engagement, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Develop coaching-based leadership approaches that build trust and accountability.
  • Gain tools for leading change, navigating uncertainty, and fostering organisational resilience.
