Study with SACAP Online Live

The lock-down of 2020 has highlighted what SACAP has long known: that everyone studies differently. As part of SACAP’s commitment to a person-centred approach to learning, we have 2 online personal study options for you to choose from, namely: Online Live or Online Flexi

A hybrid approach to online learning

Online Live is ideal if you enjoy the flexibility of online learning but like structured real-time engagement too.

That’s because this study approach combines weekly real-time virtual class engagement with self-paced online learning resources and activities. This means you will benefit from the interactive and social aspect of the classes plus the freedom to work through learning resources and other online activities at a pace that suits you best.

You will also benefit from the immediacy of real-time online classes. And because the class sizes are deliberately small, students can enjoy social engagement, dialogue and immediate feedback from your classmates and online educator.

Why Study Online Live?

  • Enjoy the structure of online classes via Zoom at a set time each week, providing the opportunity for real-time dialogue and interaction with peers and educators.
  • You’re not bound by place or space. You can study from any location with a reliable internet connection, with the benefits of both real-time and self-paced engagement.
  • Benefit from strong levels of community and social interaction with peers and educators through flexibly paced collaborative online activities.
  • You will benefit from self-paced weekly online activities that complement real-time engagement and enable deep, reflective learning.
  • You can skip the travel costs.
  • You have access to online library resources and the physical campuses as resource centres.
  • You will still do course-specific Work Integrated Learning which is where you gain invaluable practical experience.
